As a State Legislator, Kathleen Passidomo relies on her experience as a Southwest Florida resident of over 35 years to address the most important issues in our community.
Keeping our Streets Safe
In Southwest Florida, there can at times be more cyclists on the road than motorists. In order to keep our streets safe for everyone using them, Senator Passidomo has introduced legislation for the 2017 session that protects cyclists in the event of collision with a motor vehicle.
“Half the people in this state are cyclists, the other half don’t like cyclists,” said Kathleen Passidomo. “So we need to create a common sense approach to the problem of motor vehicles crashing into cyclists.”
